“Biocope is the only produce we have ever used for Grease and Odor that worked. We are expanding to more life stations.”

Santa Margarita Water District (North Beach - Mission Viego, CA)
Treatment with Biocope began at the Lift Station in October 2002 (right side of Image 1.1) Biocope was added further up the line at Tortilla Flats in January 2003 (left of the center of Image 1.1). Treatment at Sushi Naomi began on May 6, 2003. The Santa Margarita Water District is furnishing Biocope at no charge to all three restaurants being treated. Since treatment began there have been no further odor complaints from the real estate office located on the line.
Prior to treatment, these lines were cleaned every month. The line was cleaned on December 5, 2002 after filming, and, as of May 6, 2003, it has not been cleaned since.
The Peppino’s restaurant (left side of Image 1.1) is untreated and its flow runs downstream to the treated section at Tortilla Flats.
On December 5, 2002 a camera was pushed down from Manhole #703.58 to Manhole #697.74, a distance of 504.7 feet. On January 14, 2003 a camera was pushed down from Manhole #703.58 to Manhole #701.84, a distance of 429.0 feet. On March 11, 2003 an attempt was made to push the camera down the line from manhole #703.58, but the camera was blocked by grease 32 feet down the line before it reached Connection #1. Another attempt wasmade to push a camera up the grade and against theflow from Manhole #701.84 to Manhole #703.58, but the camera could only travel 306 feet before becoming stuck in the heavy grease buildup in the line between Tortilla Flats and Peppinos.
