Biocope for Restaurants...
Is a liquid multi-enzyme product that contains no bacteria, degreasers, surfactants, or soap products. A true enzyme product is a catalyst that promotes a reaction, but is not used up in the reaction. Catalytic enzymes require no outside energy to initiate the reaction. Biocope hydrolyzes grease to a short chain fatty acid, thus reducing it to smaller molecules that are no longer grease and are unable to recoagulate. The organics resulting from treatment with Biocope are smaller, more soluble, and easier for bacteria to process to biomass, water, carbon dioxide, and methane in anaerobic environments. Biocope has been the subject of several masters’ thesis at Texas Tech University which include studies of Biocope’s reduction of volatile solids, and the comparison of the degree to which several wastewater treatment additives are able to degrade volatile fatty acids.

Grease and Odor Control
Grease - Hydrolyzes grease to a short chain fatty acid thus reducing it to smaller molecules that are no longer grease and are unable to recoagulate.
Odor Control - It release oxygen molecules and changes it from an anaerobic (absences of oxygen) to an aerobic (oxygen is present) environment, which changes it from sulfide (odorous) to carbon dioxide )non-odorous) gasses in the system.
The expansion of available food and oxygen increases the bacteria’s activity and reproductive rate. In turn, the increase in bacteria and oxygen enhance the higher life organism, which then flow and reproduce more quickly. Photosynthetic bacteria, which create oxygen and have also been found to stabilize the balance between the diverse species of microorganisms, are established. This balance between the different organisms helps to remove nutrients from the water or effluent and hold them within the biomass. A symbiotic bacterial community, working at its highest level of efficiency, is always the goal and result of treatment with Biocope.
