Q: What is Biocope?
A: Biocope is a multi-enzyme product that contains no bacteria, degreasers, surfactants, or soap products. It is not hazardous to workers and can be handled without special protective equipment.
Q: How does Biocope Work?
A: Biocope hydrolyzes grease, reducing it to small molecules that are no longer grease and are unable to recoagulate. The organics resulting from treatment with Biocope are smaller, more soluble, and easier for bacteria to process to biomass, water, carbon dioxide, and methane in anaerobic environments.
Q: Where is Biocope used?
A: Biocope can be used in several locations to provide a productive and cost-saving solution in areas such as Grease Traps, Lift Stations, Anaerobic Digesters, Aerated Digesters and Secondary Clarifiers.
Q: Have studies proving Biocope's effectiveness been completed?
A: In a University Study provided by Texas Tech University, it was found that only Biocope affected the anaerobic digestion process in a significant manner by causing the highest destruction in volatile solids. A cost analysis performed for a wastewater treatment plant using Biocope as an additive gave a benefit to cost ratio of 2.27, indicating the potential economic advantages associated with its use.
